Tobi Amusan the women's record breaker of the 100m hurdle race made me cry.

Tobi Amusan made Nigeria and Africa proud in the just concluded world athlete championship in Oregon 2022.
Amusan Broke the 100m Hurdles World Record of 12.12 secs. 

She was celebrated in the country and all over the world. She couldn't stop crying while receiving her gold medal award and when they honoured her by playing  the Nigeria National Anthem to appreciate her phenomenal performance.

When I read her story on how she made it to that stage I cried, the journey was not an easy one and she really deserved it. She narrated how there was no one to support her and how the country refused to sponsor her, she never gave up but persisted in making her dream come true.

This is a motivation for those that want to give up on their dreams to keep pushing ,no matter the current situation persistence, consistence and patience is the key.
