The state-of-the-art Bayraktar TB2 drone, recently delivered from Turkey, has been used by Ukraine for the first time in a combat mission in Donbas to destroy Russian-backed rebel artillery. Ukraine released a video on Tuesday.

Ukraine plans to buy 24 more Bayraktar TB2 drones from Turkey, and Ukraine has said it plans to build a factory in the meantime to jointly produce the Bayraktar TB2 drone with Turkey.
Now it remains to be seen where Russia-Turkey relations will go with the supply of TB2 drones to Ukraine.
As the days go by, Ukraine will try to use these drones extensively in areas occupied by pro-Russian rebels or in areas where fighting is still going on in Ukraine, forcing Turkey to choose either Russia or Ukraine as its strategy.
