The aesthetic properties of any fabric is really important to many of us. If we can know the aesthetic properties or handle properties of the fabric that we can have a better idea about any fabric before going to purchase or using for ultimate consumption. There is no such a tool to analyse or to quantify the value of handle properties of a fabric.
That's why at least two systems have been developed by concerning some other related factors of handle properties so that we can have a better idea about handle properties. By incorporating all the properties in the techniques of FAST (Fabric Assurance by Simple Testing) and KES (Kawabata Evaluation System). We can have a quantifiable below and why this value I can easily decide about the handle property of the fabric in terms of numerical expression. And in this tutorial, I have explained about these two techniques and how these techniques are working in quantifying handle properties of fabric.
