This season's EPL brings back flashes of the 2017/2018 Premier League Season. Nothing has really changed, except that the two teams going against each other are on a slightly lower point tally this season than in the 2017/2018 season.
MANCHESTER CITY VS ASTON VILLA
Manchester City, who were 3 points ahead of title rivals Liverpool with two games to go, drew with West Ham on Sunday. They had to come back from 2 goals down to tie the game at 2-2. They had a chance to win the game late on, but Riyad Mahrez missed the decisive kick.
So, with their destiny in their hands, they look to seal the race for the title with a win at Aston Villa.
Aston Villa on the other hand, have players who have strong ties with Liverpool. Steven Gerrard, Aston Villa's coach, spent 17 of his 18 career seasons at Liverpool, and Philippe Coutinho, a former Liverpool player, hopes to do his former club a favor by pulling off an upset against City on Sunday.
LIVERPOOL VS WOLVES
As much City needs to win the title, Liverpool also needs to win to keep up with Manchester City, should they slip.
Liverpool pulled off a tight win against Southampton despite resting a good number of their Starting XI and a few that were missing due to injury.
Jurgen Klopp took the risk of resting them, due to the fact that the time interval between the FA Cup finals against Chelsea was a bit short and also considering the fact that City are in the forefront and they still have one more final left to play.
They hope to beat Wolves on Sunday and pray that Aston Villa pull off a miracle against Manchester City.
MANCHESTER UNITED VS CRYSTAL PALACE
Manchester United hopes to come out on top in the race for the final Europa League place. They need to better West Ham's result so as to have a chance of qualification. A win against Crystal Palace would pull them 5 points clear of West Ham,
who are two points behind, which means that they would qualify regardless of the outcome of West Ham's game. A draw with the London club would put them 3 points ahead of West Ham depending on the outcome of their result, as they would topple Manchester United out of 6th place with a win.
TOTTENHAM VS NORWICH
Tottenham needs a draw at best to qualify, unless Arsenal miraculously wins by a 16 goal margin to topple them on goal difference, which is very unlikely.
Tottenham Hotspur have always been known to be "Spursy" in recent years as they've bottled numerous chances of winning a trophy and qualification over the years. Tottenham Forward Heung Min Son who's on 21 premier league goals, look to equal or topple Mohammed Salah(20) off the top scorers chart.
EVERTON VS ARSENAL
Everton Secured their place in next season's premier league after their comeback victory against Crystal Palace and, as such, would be lenient on Arsenal, who are looking to secure their place in the champions league for the first time in 6 years.
Although Arsenal's hope of qualification is heavily reliant on Tottenham's bottling ability. They'd still have to win in order to have a chance of qualifying for next season's Champions League.
LEEDS VS BRENTFORD BURNLEY VS NEWCASTLE
Two relegation battlers will go up against tough Mid-table opposition. They are both level on 35 points each, although Burnley have an edge over Leeds as they have a better goal difference. This means that Burnley would secure their place for next season's premier league, if both of them end up with similar results on Sunday.
