Irrespective of wether or not you have excess, give to others who are in need, not because it is a law or something, but because "what goes around always comes around."
The person you helped today, may be the person who will vindicate you from that thing you're passing through or may be the person holding a key to your solution.
It pays nothing to be stingy or wicked to someone, but trust me, it'll be very much better if the whole squad is winning. One of the famous musicians by the name Davido has this quote of "we rise by lifting others" and he has actually risen by lifting others. Remember when he celebrated his birthday? He said he wants each and everyone of his friends to give him 1million naira each, which was done. He made over 20million naira without even moving from the comfort of his couch.
Had it been Davido is not a giving type, trust me, no one will even pay mind to what he has to say, talk more of sending him one million during this time in which the country is hard.
Give to the needy without a doubt, and you'll see that nature has a way of replenishing all you gave.
