Drop-earrings handmade of polymer clay with rhinestones. DIY

I recently made new polymer clay earrings. I wanted to try a new version, I had not given such before. I hope you enjoy my work.

Tools and materials:

* polymer clay
* rhinestones
* dry golden pigment (can be replaced with eye shadow)
* work surface (I have tiles)
* small ball dots
* stack and scalpel
* tassel
* 2 drop cutters
* wax pencil
* pasta machine or rolling pin for rolling plastic (can be replaced with a bottle of deodorant)

I used black polymer clay. I rolled out a small piece at the largest thickness. To make the contour of the drop, I use two boats - one is slightly smaller than the other. I cut out the shape of future earrings.

I create the texture of the earrings with dots. This will make them look like metal.

I wanted to decorate the earrings with rhinestones. With the help of a wax pencil, it is very convenient to transfer them to the right place. I have rhinestones all over the surface of the earrings. It is convenient for me to do this while working on two earrings at the same time. So it turns out the same.

Next, I tint the earrings with gold pigment. I use powdered rubbing, which is used by manicurists. I apply gold with a dry brush.

I bake earrings in the oven. It is necessary to bake according to the instructions that are on the packaging of polymer clay. If you bake the product correctly, then it can bend a little, but it will not break. It was possible to stop there, but I decided to make the reverse side of the earrings also with rhinestones, I just used slightly different ones for this. After finishing the reverse side, I baked the product again.
Also, I blinded a small ring into the set.

Previously, I sculpted a moth using approximately the same rhinestones and tinting. Therefore, the set turned out)))
