In some societies, frangipani might not be considered a very good flower to be planted in the house yard. Especially Javanese or Muslim here in my country. It is because usually they planted them in a cemetery, and this flower has always a connection to a spirit.
But that doesn't happen here in my place in Bali. most of us like this flower. It has a very nice fragrance, shape, and color. They are also very sturdy flowers, they can withstand some dry seasons without much water.
They also tend to have a big trunk with lots of branches, Making it a perfect flower to give shade in the garden. It would be nice to sit at a table under this big fragrance flower, with lots of shade in a hot day. Have a look at the bokeh, turns out to be really nice.
