THE VIRTUE OF TRUST

> ### The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. (Proverbs 31:11)  ###

The woman discussed in this passage is an honourable woman. She has a character to be emulated. Even though she is nameless, till today, wise women are trying to imbibe her great qualities.

### Beloved, everyone can rise up to be everything God intended her to be in this world. One of the virtues that is essential is TRUST. Where there is no trust, love cannot flourish.  ### Let us consider some ingredients that promote trustworthiness. ### 1 Honesty: Be honest with yourself, God and those whose lives you touch daily. > “Tell the truth, the whole truth, when you speak. Do the right thing by one another both personal and in your courts” (Zechariah 8:16).  ### 2 Discretion: To be a trusted person, you need to be discrete. This means that you must be modest and live life with self-restraint in both speech behavior. > “A tale bearer revealeth secret, but he that is a faithful spirit concealeth the matter” (Proverbs 11:13  > ### 3 Contentment: Contentment means more than you have. It also means emotional satisfaction with things as they are at every moment. > “But godliness with contentment is great gain” (1 Timothy 6:6).  ###

Beloved, to be trusted, you must learn to be grateful and contented.
