THE CROSS SHALL NOT BE IN VAIN

 > ### This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. (John 19:20)  ###

The Cross is the final price Jesus paid for man’s freedom. Through the cross of Jesus, the power of God was released for our victory.

> ### “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness: but unto us which are saved it is the power f God” (1 Corinthians 1:18).  ###

Without the preaching of the cross the work of the cross cannot be known. When you know and believe the victory Jesus settled for you on the cross, you enjoy total recovery.

*** ### Why did Jesus say it is finished? He was announcing the successful completion of the work of salvation and the total destruction of satan and all his works.  ## IT IS FINISHED THEREFORE MEANS THAT: *** ### 1 The work of God for man’s salvation and restoration is finished.  ### 2 The war against satan has been fully won. > “I am he that liveth, and was dead: and, behold, I am alive for evermore, and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).  ### 3 The weight of sin has been fully carried. > “All we like sheep have gone as tray: we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6)  ### 4 The wrath of God has been completely satisfied. > “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justified” (Romans 8:33).  ###

Beloved, know, believe and receive the finished work of Jesus today. Claim and celebrate your freedom.
