The Christian home should provide a nest of protection for children and guard them against the influence of the world in this nasty era. A godly home environment saturated with parental love and affection is a hiding place for the child to combat the negative influences of a godless culture. The modern global culture has
no place for God and godliness. Parents must not carelessly throw their children to corrupting social media, demonizing music, and pornographic movie cultures within and outside the home. If Moses was not hidden, he could have been harmed and killed. Dear parents, be part of the crusade to hide children.
Jochebed and her husband, Amram were very courageous people. Moses was born at an unrestrained, selfish, brutish and uncivilized era for the children of Israel.
Life was made to look difficult, and nasty with all kinds of xenophobic policies by Pharaoh Government especially the
one that aimed to kill every male born to an Israeli family. The parents of Moses knowing that God has placed a definite
purpose on every child hid him. Unlike others who cowardly threw away their children. Their home became a safe nest to safeguard their God given child, Moses.
The home should provide protection for children from the dangers of the world. There is desperate need to take desperate measures towards the well being of children. Our mission feild starts right in our homes. All three of Jochebed and Amram's children grew to love the Lord and became great leaders. Their selfless love and sacrifice from the home made possible the exodus of God's people from Egypt and literally changed the course of history.
Parents are the gatekeepers of their homes and have authority from God to deny entrance or otherwise into that space.
