The happiness of travel is unquenchable in the mind, it has to be realized in a pure way. It is very difficult to find some time for yourself in this age of wanting power. This world is now in the Great War, to survive here you have to keep yourself busy all the time.
In the hot afternoon sun, it seems that the sun was shining just a few hands above the head, diagonally inside the skull.
I had my last tour in February this year, after that I didn't give any tour for a long time, the month of Ramadan came and I thought I would go somewhere in Ramadan but it was not possible due to lockdown.
I have been at home for a few days during their vacation, this afternoon I suddenly thought I would go for a walk. I came out of the house with someone around 12 o'clock, then everything was ruined by the intense sun.
While walking on the road, I fixed the path to the first destination with Google map. At the head of the road, you have to cross the river again and take the car from the other side.
I crossed the ferry and saw that there was no car on the road, then I had to call for Zohar. On the one hand, the hot sun just above my head, on the other hand, the two of us started walking on Pichdhala Road, we walked for about 20 minutes, many motorcycles came and went, but all of them had passengers. After walking for a long time, I came to a market and sat for a while, after waiting for about half an hour, a motorcycle came.
This time the destination is Vayang Kheyaghat, the two of us got on the motorbike, just as a glass of water quenches our thirst while working in the field, our thirst was quenched after getting this motorbike. The condition of Muffsball Road is very bad, the back roads are broken and crushed, sometimes I feel like I am on a hilly road.
After driving for 20 minutes, we went to Aslam Bhayang ferry terminal. The urban tradition has not yet come along the river, yet the simple life is there. The cows are being taken to bathe in the river, the fishermen are fishing in small dinghy boats, all the big and small are bathing in the river together, there is a rural surge all around, the big trawlers are being repaired for the journey in the Bay of Bengal.
I was sitting under a tree on the bank of the river with the hot sun for about an hour, when a call came from one side and a trawler came from the other side. Due to the ebb of the river, the trawler could not get into the shore.
The amount of waves in the small river was beyond words, the trawler was swaying so much that it seemed as if the big waves of the sea were scratching the body of the trawler. About 10 minutes later, the trawler arrived at Bhayang Ghat.
I didn't get any car in Vyang Bazaar, I sat in a shop and ate a cup of adulterated L-free yogurt and then started walking from the market to our first destination. While walking I got a small autorickshaw and this time my destination is Majidbaria Shahi Jame Mosque.
History of the mosque
This royal mosque was established 560 years ago during the Sultanate rule. The area has been named Masjidbaria after the name of this mosque. Ruknuddin Shah, an independent sultan of the Elias Shahi dynasty, captured Bakla and built a domed mosque at Majidbaria village of Mirzaganj police station in 1475. This mosque was built by Kirti R Ujiyal, the first brick builder of Chandradwip (now Barisal division). The mosque has three beautifully decorated arches. To the east are three archways, six eight-cornered minarets and lovely pillars. A verandah mosque has two windows on the east-north and south sides.
I went to the mosque and performed the Zohar prayers. My mind became cold while praying. Due to various cyclones, floods and earthquakes, the infrastructure of the mosque has been destroyed. Due to the lack of renovations, there are signboards of more dilapidated mosques and antiquities departments, but no renovations have taken place here.
After seeing the mosque, we got out of there after a while at 2 o'clock. After eating at noon, maybe we had to take a little rest. No car was seen. Suddenly he met a man and after talking to him he called a motorcyclist. After 10 minutes the motorcycle arrived. This time the destination was the court of Hazrat Yar Uddin Khalifa.
The late Hazrat Yar Uddin Khalifa, a devotee of Mirzaganj, was a spiritual saint. Although it is not known exactly what he read, his recitation of the Qur'an proves that he knew Arabic. He was born in Dhamsi village of Shariatpur district. However, no one knows the exact date of birth. His real name is Yar Uddin Khan. Father's name is Sarai Khan. When he was 36 years old, his wife and only son died of cholera, so he spent most of his time in the mosque and reciting the Qur'an while praying. Then one day he came to Mirzaganj police station of Patuakhali district and became known as Yar Uddin Khalifa Sahib while sewing his hat. Although the late Yar Uddin Khalifa Sahib (R :) was a Bahali shopkeeper in his career, he used to go to Mirzaganj, Subidkhali, Bighai and Kakrabunia Hat in his broken boat to shop. His only believer was the late Gagan Mallick of Mirzaganj.
After about 40 minutes on a motorcycle, we arrived at my second destination, the only shrine in Bangladesh that is still free of shirk. Adjacent to the river is a huge three-storey mosque with Yar Uddin Khalifa's Mazar Sharif.
