You can NEVER be wealthy or happy in life if you abandon your reasoning to follow groupthink or engage in herd mentality. Yes, the crowd may insult you. That is okay. Insults don't kill. But blindly following the crowd can kill. Because when one wheel jumps over a cliff and dies, the rest of the herd joins it unthinkingly.
The crowd chose Barabbas over Christ. They chose Hitler. They burnt William Tyndale for translating Scripture. Stop following the bandwagon. Go and buy a personality if you have to. Think for yourself. Break your mental chains. Stop surrendering to the popular opinion. Hear both sides. Give people the benefit of the doubt that you will want to be given to you when you are also accused. And as you do, your life will become deeper, richer, and more meaningful.
