In this tutorial we will walk you step by step to understand about Serey Wallet.
What is Serey Wallet?
Serey wallet is a decentralize application (dapp) in short a software that allow you to store
your Serey Coin (SRY), Serey Power (SP) and a few other built-in wallet to store other cryptocurrency
such as bitcoin, bitcoin cash and steem. At the same time there are many feature related
to serey platform as a whole.
Where do I download Serey Wallet application?
At the top menu near the regional logo, in this picture "Global" region at the right side
you will see a wallet logo, clicking on that wallet logo, there are 3 types of version
on macOS, Window 32bit and Window 64bit, So you can download and install it to your PC.
How to import existing account to Serey Wallet?
When you first time using the wallet, you don't have the wallet password yet,
you only have a long owner private key given by Serey when you register account
from the serey.io. So to have your wallet password you need to click on the Signup
as shown in the image above.
enter your register username and your long owner key from serey.io and click Next.
Now you can choose your avatar picture (it is not neccessary) and create your password,
make sure the password is difficult and don't forget to backup or write it down somewhere,
you might forget the next day or next month, and you will lost access to your coins.
If you are a high tech user, or security expert you can enable Two Factor Authentication (2FA),
by downloading google 2FA application and scan that QR Code, but if you are low tech,
you need to learn how 2FA works first, before use it, otherwise it will give you life complication.
So you can just click on Skip.
Now you can use your username and your password to log in to your wallet.
First time log in to your wallet, the application might want to ask for your
long serey owner key to grant access to the account, paste your owner key
and click on Grant Access.
Voilà !!! Congratulation, you are now having your Serey Wallet created and
you can use it to:
Send coin, Received Coin, Power Up, Power Down, Delegate Power,
Cancel Delegation and Claims your article rewards.
