While the jury’s still out on crypto adoption in the USA, many states are trying to break new ground. Take Arizona for example. A Scottsdale real estate company, the Hudye Group, recently announced that it has begun accepting cryptocurrencies as payment for deluxe condos in the area. The company has realized the value of cryptocurrencies and digital forms of payment, believing they’re become a mainstream asset class. Hudye currently sells 4 condos with prices ranging between $1.6 and $2 million.
Ben Hudye, chairman of the Hudye Group, thinks they’re breaking new ground. He realized the potential of cryptos a while ago and wanted to tap into that market. The Hudye Group sells deluxe condominiums in Scottsdale, and thanks to the latest move, it may grow more valuable soon.
Still a Lot to Learn
According to Hudye, the company still has a lot to learn on using Bitcoin and cryptos. However, it’s on the right track. He believes they’ll see more cryptocurrencies in the future and that their adoption across the country will definitely increase.
Hudye says that his knowledge of cryptos is on level 2 on a 1-10 scale. He believes they’re an exciting payment method that could revolutionize payments in the future. While Hudye has just started accepting cryptos for their luxury condos, Arizona residents have been doing it for a while. Sedona resident Ryan Nichols has already purchased an Arizona home using Bitcoin.
He spent a total of $2 million from his Bitcoin wallet. Nichols said he invested in the leading cryptocurrency a couple of years ago, and decided that it’s time to reinvest that money when Bitcoin hit $54,000.
He compared Bitcoin to gold and plans to invest more in crypto in the future. With the Hudye Group receiving a lot of inquiries about their Bitcoin condos, it’s clear that cryptos are in high demand in the state of Arizona. Hopefully, other states will follow their example.
