It only said that the company wants to develop the case for capabilities that should be developed as well as drive the overall vision and product strategy.
It was quite a cryptic job advertisement, but the Bitcoin rumor mill immediately followed. In the past few days, inside sources have confirmed that Amazon is deeply interested in cryptos, up to the point that it’s aiming to launch a digital project in Mexico soon.

It is genuinely interested in crypto payments, although you shouldn’t expect to see them soon. This is a pilot project, an experiment to see how everything would work. The first stage of the crypto project will supposedly focus on Bitcoin, with Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Cardano to follow.
