INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone here on Serey it is a nice day to have you all. I wqnt to also appreciate everyone working hard to make sure the serey worth is booming and supporting anyone with a great content on the platform the platform.
I have a tip for us all today especially to the pc users and Nigerian bloggers too, due to the fact that whenever we connect our laptop device to our mobile phone we tend to spend mch data.
Now this is a trick and a tip that will limit your data consumption on your pc and you get to manage your small amount of data to simply perfom some tasks on the internet,
LET"S JUMP IN
First of all the way your wifi works or your wifi connectivity options varies with your windows operating sytem. This tip is not for mac book users.
to that note I am Using windows 10 update sept 2022.
First solution
- Go to your windows button and on the search bar type background apps and the background apps option comes up.
- When you click on the background apps it brings you to this window.
- click on the toggle button to switch off or on. note: when it is off it stops every program running on the background that uses data services like updates and cooies from the said apps. thus this reduces data consumption.
Second solution
- Go to settings or simply type settings
- Click on the update windows
- Right on the update windows You can see that your pc is always checking fo updates, now thats the deal turn it off. You can always come back to continue whenever you have enough mobile data of at leat 4gb
Third solution
- While connected to your desired hotspot "very neccesary"
- Go to settings
- select your network and internet sharing center you also search it on you windows button.
- open the properties of your connected hotspot device.
- simply toggle the button on and you are done.
