## This is the statue of sidho-kanhu. They were brothers and a great freedom fighter of India. They became popular when they raised voice and fight against Britishers. Actually, lots of Britishers came India and their kingdom was so rudely. Some of Indian didn't react but someone fighted. Sidho and kanhu were one of them. They belong to our region. I mean Jharkhand(India). They were a great patriot and they committed life for India.
Actually, this event happened in 1857. Sidho-kanhu was a Santhal(who lives in the jungle and wear like leaves, skins and eat amazing food like cat, rat, pig etc). But they were ordinary peoples. When Britishers rule and this taxing system was increasing. Some ordinary person raised voice and Britishers killed them. Sidho-kanhu was one of them. Thiers main weapon was bow and arrow where Britishers had guns, bomb and another weapon. However, Santhal killed some Britishers. Sidho-kanhu was a leader so for memory some Santhal made statue of him.
For memory in my state, there are university on their name's (sidho kanhu murmu university dumka, Jharkhand). I do study here too.
