Hindu or sanatan ..

This is a geographical definitional which refer people who living beyond of Indus river they were Hindus. The word "Hindu" is neither a Sanskrit word nor is this word found in any of the native dialects and languages of India. It should be noted that "Hindu" is NOT a religious word at all. There is no reference to the word "Hindu" in the Ancient Vedic Scriptures. According to historian this word Hindu was first used by the person who comes to India through the north part of Himalaya. Vol.20. ref. 581.  # What is the right word, Charlie? According to Swami Vivekanand, the right word is Vedantist. Also, the right word for Hinduism is Sanatan. Sanatan means who believe in one God and follow the Vedas. The Sanatan is a meaningful word according to Vedas and scholar. Then if anyone says my religion is Sanatan I think he is better than Hinduism.  # What is your problem with Hindu word Charlie? Probably you could ask me what is your problem with the Hindu word.
