The third team of the tri-series is host Bangladesh. This is the 11th consecutive win for Afghanistan in a T20 without a match. Zimbabwe has played eight matches against Afghanistan so far, losing eight of them. Batting first after losing the toss, Afghanistan scored a mammoth 197 for five and then restricted Zimbabwe's team to 169 for seven. Najibullah Jadaran played an unbeaten 69-run unbeaten knock of 30 off 30 balls with five fours and six sixes. Jadaran received the man of the match award for his stormy innings. Apart from him, Rahman Ullah Gurbaz contributed 43 runs on 24 balls with five fours and two sixes. Mohammad Nabi hit four sixes in a stormy innings of 38 off 18 balls. For Zimbabwe, Tendai Chatara and Sean Williams took two wickets each while Anseley Davolu took one wicket. Chasing a target of 198 runs from Afghanistan, Zimbabwe's team could score 169 runs for seven wickets. For the team, Regis Chakabwara scored an unbeaten 42 off 22 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.
