After spending four years in school, Kate was finally mobilized for NYSC. She was posted to Kebbi state to spend one year in service of her country. At first she was not happy to be in Kebbi state, later after listening to advice from different people she decided to settle in very well. One day a thought came to her and she decided to think of what to do for the community she found her self. After much thought it dawned on her that the community lacked portable water. So she decided to construct a borehole that will be powered by solar. The cost of the project was very high and since her Passing out parade was close by, she decided to settle for ring well. That was her she made sure that she provided ring well for the community so that they can have access to water close by.
