What is the Passage whispering to us?

All good and good mood! I have long wanted to show you in comparison two magnificent architectural passages. The fashion for such commercial structures have appeared in the 19-20 centuries. Passenger buildings are eclectic. Such architectural beauty is typical for the countries of Europe and their colonies, the Russian Empire, the USA. For me, the passage is an elegant shopping center. In historical times, arcade shops were only available for the most famous and wealthy brands. Today we will consider two passages - one in Odessa, the second - in Istanbul. As a rule, the buildings of the passages were located within the Central streets of the city. Today's passages are no exception. About Odessa Passage I once wrote, it is at the junction of two streets Deribasovskaya and Transfiguration. Istanbul flower passage is located on the historic Istiklal street. The historical building of the theater was built in 1848  As in all shopping malls, there are two entrances in the flower passage of Istanbul. One from Istiklal street, the other from Sahne street. Istanbul passage is closely connected with the Russian revolution of 1917. After this event, many impoverished Russian baronesses and noblewomen fled to Istanbul. They sold flowers in the Flower passage. In those days, the passage was filled with flower shops, hence the name Flower passage. It is worth noting that after the revolution of 1917 in the area of Pera in Istanbul there were a lot of Russian families.  Probably impossible to compare the passages together.
