Art boom in Istanbul or Yeditepe Bienali program

The global meeting of artists from different cities and villages of Turkey is held in Istanbul for the first time. Thirty historic buildings host exhibitions by more than 600 artists. The presented works (about 3000) participate in the program Yeditepe Bienali. The art festival lasted a couple of weeks opened by the President of Turkey R. Erdogan. .  You have already seen one exhibition. It was held in the Hagia Sophia. That's where the President opened the art festival. Today I will show pictures of Turkish artists. I will not write the names. There were so many of them that a month is not enough for me to describe. If I still knew so much about Turkish artists, it would be easier. Drawing on ceramics is especially interesting. I can't imagine how they draw and make such compositions.  The Yeditepe Bienali program is developed by the municipality of Istanbul Fatih district. For the first time in the country began to apply dynamic exhibitions in the territories of historical buildings. The goal is to attract more people to the art. At the same time, artists and masters of other creative professions will not pay a lot of money for the organization of exhibitions. To organize an exhibition in Istanbul in a rented room is very expensive. Many artists remain in the shadows. The Ministry of culture and tourism of Turkey with the assistance of the President and many other organizations want to bring art to a new level.  In the photo you can see a ceramic tile - this is the work of a Turkish artist. The program Yeditepe Bienali organizes live performances of masters of different crafts. Thus, they show skill and attract new participants to their craft.  In the photos you can see the mosaic. Works can be called a beautiful Oriental fairy tale. Most often, tourists see lamps that look like magic pieces of glass collected together. When I looked at these pictures, it was a feeling that took a large lamp and turned into a plane.  The exhibition, which we visited, was held in madrasa of the Suleymaniye. In the photos the view from the top of the building. Madrasah occupies a huge territory. It is located next to the biggest mosque in Istanbul - Suleymaniye. Madrasahs are educational institutions at the mosque. In our time, there are even Internet madrasahs, which give the initial level of religious Islamic education. It's a painting, only assembled into a form. The first two places are occupied by the paintings of the famous painter Osman Hamdi Bey: "Istanbul Madam" - more than 2 million dollars. ”Turtle trainer” - 1 million 200 thousand dollars.  It is worth noting that Osman Hamdi Bay opened the first art school in Turkey. I told about it in the previous posts. He also organized the archaeological Museum of Istanbul. In each room of the madrasah (there are a lot of them) the works of different artists were presented. But in one of the rooms were amazing children's creations.
