Lenin, the great mentor, once said: "To forget the past means betrayal." I believe what Lenin said about the past refers to family and national hatred, letting people remember history and not forget their original mission. But for the ups and downs in life, as well as the vicissitudes of life, emotions and joys, in fact, forgetting is the best way out. Say goodbye to the past, whether sad or happy, whether right or wrong, because only in this way can we find happiness in life.

The past has gone far, and it is also sad when it has been a long time.

Even the past brilliance will also make people feel sad in the end. As the saying goes, a hero does not mention his courage in those years, just like a person who publicizes how great his ancestors were and how great they became officials. But these are things of the past, even decades or hundreds of years ago. However, compared with the current self, it makes one more humble and be looked down by others. However, Chinese people have been advocating low profile since ancient times, showing off their past glory or their ancestors in such a way has actually attracted others' disdain and contempt.

Li Yu's poems of the Tang Dynasty, "The carved railings and jade bricks should still be there, but the peach blossom faces of beauties should be changed", have made people heartbroken. What is the significance of the past glory?

Those sad things in the past are even more heartbreaking. The sad past things were taken out from time to time and turned over in one’s mind, hate welled up inside himself as he thought of the people in the story, and he began to regret the injured himself, even wishing he could slap himself in the face with remorse. Holding on to others' mistakes, holding on to your own mistakes, and bearing hatred, you can never let go of the burden in your heart, and you can only torture yourself and become more nervous in the end, which may lead to diseases, and even become obsessed.

Tao Yuanming, the great poet of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, said, "Now I have come to realize how wrong I have been a in the past", shows that "the pastoral poet" is free and peaceful. " Now I have come to realize how wrong I have been a in the past " means to feel that today’s is right, but yesterday’s is wrong. Every step forward negates the step just taken. Yesterday's events were correct yesterday, but as time goes on, they may be wrong today.

Heraclitus, the ancient Greek materialist philosopher, said that "people cannot step into the same river at the same time", which shows the truth of "cherishing the present". The past has gone far, whether right or wrong, sad or happy, glory or downfall, are meaningless. Hold fast to the past, and you will be hurt finally.

The past cannot be changed, and the future is unpredictable. Only the present we can grasp. Why not wave your hand to the past and say goodbye? Then cheer up, forget the past, and devote yourself to today's cause!
