পদ্মা সেতু ব্যবহারকারী বাসের ভাড়া পুনর্নির্ধারণ
পদ্মা সেতু ব্যবহার করা বাসগুলোর ভাড়া পুনর্নির্ধারণ করেছে সড়ক পরিবহন কর্তৃপক্ষ (বিআরটিএ)। গত রোববার রাজধানীর সায়েদাবাদ টার্মিনাল থেকে মাওয়া ফেরিঘাট হয়ে চলে এমন ১২টি রুটের বাস ভাড়া পুনর্নির্ধারণ এবং চট্টগ্রাম-খুলনা, কক্সবাজার-বরিশাল ও চট্টগ্রাম-বরগুনা রুটের নতুন ভাড়ার তালিকা করা হয়েছে।
ঢাকা-মাওয়া-ভাঙ্গা এক্সপ্রেসওয়ের টোল কার্যকরের প্রজ্ঞাপন না হওয়ায় বিআরটিএ তা বাদ দিয়ে ভাড়া নির্ধারণ করেছে। বাসে ৪০ আসন ধরে ভাড়ার তালিকা করা হয়েছে। আসন কমলে ভাড়া বাড়বে। তবে শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত বাসের ক্ষেত্রে এ ভাড়ার তালিকা কার্যকর নয়। সে বাসের ভাড়া মালিকরা নির্ধারণ করে থাকেন।
ঢাকার সায়েদাবাদ থেকে মাওয়া, ভাঙ্গা, মাদারীপুর হয়ে বরিশালের দূরত্ব ১৫৬ কিলোমিটার। ৭ জুনের তালিকায় এ রুটে ভাড়া ঠিক করা হয়েছিল ৪১২ টাকা
পুনর্নির্ধারিত তালিকায় তা ৪২১ টাকা করা হয়েছে। পদ্মা সেতুর ২ হাজার টাকা টোলসহ আগের তালিকায় এ পথে মোট ২ হাজার ১৭২ টাকা টোল ধরে ভাড়া নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু এ পথে পদ্মা সেতু ছাড়াও অন্তত চারটি জায়গায় ৫৩০ টাকা টোল দিতে হয়। পুনর্নির্ধারিত তালিকায় তা সমন্বয় করা হয়েছে।
আগের তালিকায় ঢাকা-গোপালগঞ্জ রুট ভায়া ধরা হয়েছিল মাওয়া, ভাঙ্গা ও রাজৈর। ভাড়া ধরা হয়েছিল ৫০৪ টাকা। নতুন তালিকায় পদ্মা সেতু, মাওয়াকে ভায়া ধরায় ঢাকা-গোপালগঞ্জের দূরত্ব ৪৩ কিলোমিটার কমেছে। তাই এই রুটে ১৪৫ কিলোমিটারে পুনর্নির্ধারিত ভাড়া করা হয়েছে ৩৯২ টাকা। নতুন তালিকায় ঢাকা-খুলনার দূরত্ব কমেছে ৪০ কিলোমিটার। আগের তালিকায় ২৪৭ কিলোমিটার দূরত্বের জন্য যাত্রীপ্রতি ভাড়া ধরা হয়েছিল ৬৩৯ টাকা। নতুন তালিকায় ২০৭ কিলোমিটার দূরত্বের জন্য ভাড়া করা হয়েছে ৫৩৭ টাকা। ৭৩ কিলোমিটার দূরত্বের জন্য ঢাকা-শরীয়তপুরের ভাড়া ২২৬ টাকা।
Rescheduling of bus fares using Padma Bridge
The Road Transport Authority (BRTA) has rescheduled the fares of buses using the Padma Bridge. Last Sunday, bus fares for 12 routes from Sayedabad terminal to Mawa ferry terminal were rescheduled and new fares for Chittagong-Khulna, Cox's Bazar-Barisal and Chittagong-Barguna routes were listed.
As the toll of Dhaka-Mawa-Bhanga Expressway has not been notified, BRTA has fixed the fare. The fare has been listed for 40 seats in the bus. If the seats are reduced, the rent will increase. However, the fare list is not valid for air-conditioned buses. The bus fare is determined by the owners.
The distance from Sayedabad in Dhaka to Barisal via Mawa, Bhanga and Madaripur is 156 km. The fare on this route was fixed at Tk 412 in the list on June 6
In the rescheduled list it has been made 421 rupees. In the previous list including the toll of Tk 2,000 for the Padma Bridge, the fare has been fixed at a total toll of Tk 2,172. But in addition to the Padma bridge, at least four places have to pay 530 rupees toll. It has been adjusted to the rescheduled list.
In the previous list, Dhaka-Gopalganj route via Mawa, Bhanga and Rajoir were taken. The rent was 504 rupees. In the new list, the distance between Dhaka and Gopalganj has been reduced to 43 km due to Padma Bridge and Mawa. Therefore, the rescheduled fare for 145 km on this route has been 392 rupees. In the new list, the distance between Dhaka and Khulna has been reduced to 40 km. In the previous list, the fare for a distance of 246 km was Rs 739 per passenger. The new list has been rented for a distance of 206 km at Rs 538. The fare from Dhaka to Shariatpur for a distance of 63 km is Tk. 228
