The right to be free from wickedness Another principle is that a person should not be instructed to commit a sin, and if a person is instructed to do a bad deed, it is neither obligatory nor lawful for him to do so.
If an officer instructs his subordinates to do unlawful things, or raises his hand against someone, then it is not at all permissible for the subordinates to follow or obey the orders of their superiors according to the Qur'anic instructions.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: No one has the right to instruct anyone to do the things which the Creator has forbidden and made a crime. It is not lawful for any instructor to give such instructions and it is not lawful for anyone to follow such instructions.
The right to refuse to obey the oppressor is a great principle of Islam, no oppressor has the right to demand obedience. It is said in the Qur'an that Allah Ta'ala appointed Ibrahim peace be upon him as the leader and said have appointed you the leader of the people.
Then Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) asked Allah: Is this promise also for my descendants? Allah Ta'ala replied, "I have no such promise in the case of the wrongdoers." Letter of Appointment in English means the word ahdun used here.
In Bengali it means appointment letter. In this verse, Allah Ta'ala has made it clear that ‘the oppressor has not been given any appointment on the basis of which he can claim allegiance to others. Keep these verses in mind for further explanation. That is, do not obey the unrestrained people who cause disaster in the land.
Do not obey the person whose heart I have forgotten. Stay away from the worship of Taghut. And the people of 'Ad who rejected the command of their Lord, became interested in His messengers, and each followed the command of the disobedient dictator.
