Yeast is that which overwhelms the conscience of man. This is a very important and very important principle. Hazrat Umar (ra) stood on the pulpit of Rasool Kareem and announced the speech. In the light of this, the meaning of the word khumr used in the Qur'an can be understood and there is no room for doubt in this regard. From this it is infallible that the substance which overwhelms the conscience of man, deprives him of feelings and judgment, intellect and decision-making power or affects any form, hence it is called yeast or alcohol. And that is what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden forever.

 

Cannabis, opium, cocaine, etc. are things of this stage. It overwhelms the human conscience in such a way that distant things seem near and near things seem distant. There is an illusion or delusion about what is actually present. And what doesn't really exist, seems to exist. In this way, he is drowning in a sea of ​​extreme misconceptions and baseless ideas. Eventually, he forgot his own religion and world and began to wander in the world of mere imagination.

 

Apart from that, drinking such drugs breaks down health. The nervous system loses consciousness. The body becomes weak. In addition to this, his weak mentality, impatience, moral decay and impatience of willpower are created, as a result of which the person accustomed to drinking these poisonous substances causes extensive decay in the body of the society.

 

All these faults and catastrophes are an inevitable consequence of wastage of wealth and destruction of home and family. A person who is accustomed to drinking these anesthetic products often spends money on food and medicine for his children. For this reason, they do not have any hesitation or hesitation in adopting corruption and dishonest methods.

 

It has already been said that the basic principle of Islam is that the forbidden things are the cause of all kinds of abomination, evil, inferiority and loss. And in fact the fact has been revealed that all these things are extremely harmful and deadly from the point of view of health as well as psychologically, collectively and economically - there is no doubt about it. The jurists who started these things in their lifetime are in complete agreement about their ugliness and inferiority. Shaykh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah is the foremost among them. He writes:

 

Hashish and marijuana are forbidden. Be it unconscious or not. Drinking it awakens the heart-stirring, exhilarating and ecstatic feeling. For this reason, mainly atheists are accustomed to drinking it. In terms of action and specialty, it is as provocative as Sura. It motivates people to quarrel. And cannabis causes extreme confusion by causing delirium. It also spoils the nature of human conscience and mood. It causes sexual arousal. People also lose their sense of self-worth. For these reasons, marijuana is worse than alcohol in terms of intoxication. Due to the uprising of the Tatar community, this thing became widespread among the people. If you drink it - more or less amount - the punishment for drinking alcohol should be eighty or forty lashes
