The state of the human race and the human race is the ultimate goal of marriage and married life. And this situation is dependent on the continuation of the lineage. For this reason, Islam has placed great importance on procreation and declared it to be very desirable. In the eyes of Islam, children - whether they are boys or girls - are the means of immense welfare and prosperity. But at the same time, Islam has expressed the view that family planning methods can be adopted for reasonable reasons and important needs. In the time of Rasool Kareem (peace be upon him) it was customary to throw the azal outside the female organ during ejaculation in order to prevent or reduce the birth rate. The Companions used to take this approach in the age of Prophethood. It has been narrated from Hazrat Jabir (RA).

 

We used to do 'Azal' during the lifetime of the Holy Prophet (SAW), while the Qur'an was being revealed at that time. The language of another hadith is: We used to do 'Azal' during the lifetime of Rasool Kareem (SAW). When this news reached him, he did not forbid us from doing this.

 

We have a hundred maids, I do 'azal' with her and she is pregnant - I don't like that. And what men usually want, I want. Meanwhile, the Jews are saying that 'Azal' is a petty secret killing. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, the Jews are lying. If God wants to give birth to a child, you cannot stop it.

 

The meaning of this saying of Rasool Kareem (peace be upon him) is that sperm can reach the womb in spite of doing 'Azal' and it is possible to transmit the womb unknowingly.

 

There was a discussion about 'Azal' in the meeting of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA). One said people thought he was a "small secret murder". Upon hearing this, Hazrat Ali (ra) said: 'Moudah' can be said to be rooted alive, that is, to kill a child, when the fetus passes through seven stages, that is, the essence of the soil turns into sperm, then it takes the form of coagulated blood , Then bone marrow develops, and flesh accumulates on it. By passing through these stages, human form takes shape. Hadrat 'Umar said: You are right. God bless you.
