A RACI chart also know as RAM(Responsibility Assignment Matrix).
RACI:
R: who is responsible for the project. This comprise the team members that do the work.
A: Who is accountable for the project.
C: Those who we consulted doing execution of the project. Probably for an advise .
I: This people just need to be informed on the completion of the project.

A RACI chart is just one of the major charts use in project management where the responsibility of the team members are clearly stated for effective working period. The main purpose of these Chat is to avoid role mix-up doing execution of tasks. It also help us to know who is responsible for a particular task.
Ps: for a small project RACI chart won't be necessary since low number of Stakeholders will partake. It is always adviseable for a large project work.
