Govardhan Puja is one of the very special festivals

Govardhan Puja is one of the very special festivals celebrated after Diwali. Which is also known as Annakoot. People place and worship Govardhan Maharaj with hands and worship him and the vegetable of Annakoot is distributed as Prasad. Lord Krishna kept Govardhan Parvat on a small finger for seven days to save the Vrajavasis from torrential rains and on the seventh day Govardhan kept saying that Govardhan Puja will be done every year now. The tradition of celebrating it has been going on since then.
