South Africa has reopened borders for immigrants from countries in the African continent. However, tourists from 50 countries with high rates of Corona infection are prohibited from visiting South Africa.
According to information reported by AFP, South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor said the border would be opened gradually. Travelers from the UK, France, India, Russia and the United States are prohibited from entering.
Only business travelers with rare and critical skills, diplomats, investors and professional sportsmen who come from high-risk countries are allowed to enter the country, "he said. Travelers from all African countries are allowed, "added Pandor.
Meanwhile, its three main airports in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg will resume operations. All travelers will be asked to show evidence of a Corona virus test that was carried out less than 72 hours before departure.
