Good day everyone!
Today is another good day to share my news with you all. For the past six months now, we have been on ASUU strike. ASUU which stands for "Academic Union of Universities" is a body that holds all the federal universities in Nigeria.
The union has demanded some amount of money from the federal government to settle the lecturers and the professors but the government is not complying with their demand. Therefore, this instigated the current nationwide strike, drastically affecting all the federal universities and the students at large.
For my own part, I have waited at home in the hope that the strike will be suspended very soon for me to go back to school and continue with my studies, but it seems to be to no avail. So that is why I started looking for a job to sustain myself and provide for my needs throughout the striking period. Fortunately for me, I landed a new job at a Brewery company that produces nine brands of drinks including the very popular drinks like Hero, Beta malt, Grand malt, Eagle, Budweiser, and so on...
I thank God for the job!
