1. Ingredients
Pizza dough is made up of flour, water, yeast, salt, oil, and sometimes eggs. You can use any type of flour you want, but I recommend using bread flour since it's less dense than all-purpose flour.you can use all-purpose flour instead, if you don't have bread flour. To get the right amount of liquid, add about 1/2 cup of warm water at first, then gradually add more until you reach the desired consistency.
2. Mixing the Dough
Mix the ingredients together in a bowl they're well combined. With plastic wrap cover the bowl and let sit for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, knead the dough again. Kneading is a way to develop gluten, which gives the dough its elasticity. You'll know if the dough is ready to roll out because it will feel smooth and springy.
3. Rolling Out the Dough
For flatten the dough into a circle use a rolling pin. Make sure the dough isn't sticking to the surface while you're rolling it out. Once the dough is rolled out, fold it over on top of itself and press down firmly. Repeat this step until you've folded the dough enough times.
4. Baking the Pizza
Preheat the oven to 450 degree. Place the pizza stone inside the oven and preheat it for 15 minutes. Remove the pizza stone from the oven and place the rolled out dough on top of the pizza stone. Bake the pizza for 8 to 12 minutes, depending on how thick you'd like your crust to be. When the pizza comes out of the oven, remove it from the pizza stone and slice it.
