I was very busy yesterday. The time passed by working until the game started and then there was no desire to go out to watch the game. At first I was lying on the bed watching the game on the laptop. But there was so much noise outside that I couldn't keep myself inside the house. Then I went out to watch the game with everyone.
The early stages of the game were very crowded. Croatia had the ball at their feet most of the time and were playing very well. But then Messi scored a penalty goal to give Argentina the lead and Argentina went one step closer to victory. Until now, I was sitting at home watching the game, then after scoring a goal, I went out.
My TV has a huge LED screen in front of it and that's where I basically watch all the Argentina games. There are various types of shops like small nut shop, chanachur shop, betel shop. It felt like walking into a fair and the biggest crowd I've ever seen last night. Around 1500 people were close and the road was completely blocked although there were no major problems but nothing to the frenzy of the game.
Another goal came after 39 minutes and it was a great one. With that, Argentina went ahead with three goals. That kind of frenzy from Argentina fans is evident. It was 2 o'clock in the night but the atmosphere there seemed to be 8 o'clock in the night. They were so engrossed in the game that different types of cars were passing by and they stopped the cars and sat there watching the game. Then understand that this love cannot be evaluated or compared with anything else.
Attendance increases after halftime. Also there are different types of media present and different types of videos. They make those videos when the goal is celebrated, maybe they saw today's news but I haven't seen them yet. Playing like this with everyone and celebrating the victory of your favorite team is really a matter of luck. But I wholeheartedly believe that Argentina will win the World Cup this time. I think that Messi will get rid of waiting for so many years.
Messi assisted another goal in the next 69 minutes and that goal was very good. Messi assisted by overcoming all the defenders. I didn't see Croatia play like they did in the beginning. Felt very helpless especially their goalkeeper looked very helpless. Still Croatia played very well. Also we have to praise the Argentinian goalkeeper. He also made some great saves.
Everyone in Argentina played very well and we got to see yesterday how a leader can organize a whole team. Anyway, I had a good night's sleep last night. Hope all of you Argentina fans had a great celebration of the Argentina win. This was my feeling watching the game. Now just waiting to see the final game. Now there is only one more match, the World Cup will be in Messi's hands only if he wins that match
