This week I have gone through a [post](https://peakd.com/hive-191968/@nathanmars/bhjuuzom) by @nathanmars and its topic was very good. He has talked about HODL strategy and most of us know this HODL word being a part of the crypto space. Some people who are yet to enter crypto think that its a way to become rich overnight and in crypto people can become quick rich. Everyone has a different view and strategy when it comes to investing and I truly understand because its a journey where goals can be the same but the way we drive will surely be different for everyone.

This is such a fantastic line that was shared by CZ from Binance and I follow the same with my crypto journey. I joined this for money but then I stayed and its been 4 years for me to be here. Time flies and now today I hold much more than what I used to have 2 years back and this is because I holding it all for a better future. I don't know when will be the right time to sell and exit but I can say that selling 100% will never be easy. I have been accumulating HIVE since the beginning and now I hold 25k HP which is just the beginning of my goal. I want to have 100k HP and out of it, my goal is to make it 50k in 2022. Its tough but its fun to take challenges that are difficult to achieve and I love doing it.
I did not sell my crypto even when I had a tough time during covid lock and it was the time when many of us got affected financially by the pandemic. Now since I survived that time without selling my crypto so I don't see the need to sell it soon as now things are in a better place.
Consistency is the key to success and it also applies in crypto so I am consistent with my working here on this platform. I am consistent and I accumulate everything I earn here. I believe that I can sell what I earn for some quick money but that is not my goal. If I start selling it then I may be used to getting easy money and I will lose the focus on my goal. I don't want to lose my focus and this is why I don't want myself to get distracted.
The future is unpredictable but its exciting too and there is a lot happening on the chain where we can earn and increase the accumulation. Be it HIVE token or some others including. Leo, SPS, etc, I am accumulating all the tokens for the long term. I have certain goals with all this stuff and working to achieve. I don't know that what is the definition to be called rich but I HODL to have a decent amount of crypto in my portfolio. Trust me its an amazing feeling when we keep on adding some numbers in crypto volume and its the same as the way we increase our hive power.
The reason why I hold crypto is that I want crypto to be one of the sources of passive income in the next few years and I am sure it will happen. Now even with bitcoin staking we can earn that mean it make us earn two ways. First, we earn when value appreciates and second we get staking reward on a fixed interval. Crypto is a revolution and we are in this at the early phase. I know that crypto is one of the segments where we can create various ways to generate passive income and this is the best part of why I am on it.
