Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatuhu.

Dear friends,

I don't know how you all are, but I hope that by the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty, you are well and healthy. I am also very well and healthy by your prayers and the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty. You should not say bad things in front of children - why not and what harm can be done. This topic has been discussed in detail and this post welcomes and congratulates you all.

You should not say bad things in front of children - why not and what harm can be done in detail:

Children are the future of a nation. Their mental structure, morality and personality are developed based on the environment, especially those with whom they spend the most time - such as parents, relatives, teachers, neighbors, etc. For this reason, you should not use bad, indecent or harsh language in front of children. This has a serious negative impact on them.

1. Children learn by doing:

Children are very imitative. They imitate the behavior, language and activities of those around them. If they hear foul language from adults, they also start considering it normal and use that language whenever they get the opportunity.

2. Moral degradation begins:

Using obscene and foul language creates moral weakness in the character of children. They are deprived of the basic education of the difference between truth and falsehood, politeness and rudeness, courtesy and tolerance. Eventually, they become a burden to society.

3. Misbehavior increases in schools and colleges:

The language they learn in childhood is the same that they start using among their friends. As a result, their behavior with classmates becomes rough, aggressive and abusive. This destroys group coexistence, friendship and social harmony.

4. Family and social environment is polluted:

If children start using foul language, it affects not only the family but also the entire society. Their behavior can even be humiliating in front of relatives or guests.

5. Self-confidence and mental development are hampered:

If a child grows up hearing foul language regularly, then fear, restlessness and a kind of hesitation are created in his mind. Their self-esteem and confidence are damaged. Sometimes this causes depression or mental problems in the long run.

6. Crime from a religious perspective:

Indecent and harsh speech is forbidden or forbidden in almost all religions, including Islam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Hereafter, let him speak good or remain silent.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

7. Legal and social problems can arise:

When children use obscene language on the street or at school, other children or parents may get angry, which can lead to arguments or fights. This causes the child to lose social acceptance.

How to solve this problem?

1. Correcting your own behavior:

Before adults, you should make your own language and behavior polite and sophisticated. You should always use good language in front of children.

2. Teaching good and bad:

Children should be made to understand which language is polite and which is rude. Moral education should be instilled in them through stories, Quran-Hadith, proverbs, etc.

3. Monitoring:

Parents should keep an eye on where children go, who they spend time with, what TV they watch or which videos they watch.

4. Role of educational institutions:

Teachers in schools and madrasas should explain the importance of maintaining polite language among children and regularly discuss morality.

5. Patiently explaining:

If a child says something bad, he should be patiently explained without scolding him, so that he does not feel ashamed but understands that it is wrong.

Saying bad things in front of children is not at all appropriate. It has a huge negative impact on the child's morality, humanity and future. If we want to create an ideal, educated and decent generation in society, we all have to be aware from today. We must remember that children are like glass - the way we behave in front of them, they will become exactly the same.
