Hazrat Osman Guni (R), his relationship with the Prophet (PBUH) and his conversion to Islam.

 Today we have this post about the name and lineage of the third caliph of Islam, Hazrat Osman Guni (R), his relationship with the Prophet (PBUH) and his conversion to Islam. Welcome everyone to this post.

 

 Hazrat Uthman (R) was the third caliph of the Muslim world. He was born in Makkah in 563 AD to the Umayyad tribe of the Quraish dynasty. Hazrat Uthman (R) had several nicknames such as: Abu Abdullah, Abu Amr and Abu Laila. His two titles were Gani and Yunnurain. This gani means "rich". He was the richest man in Arabia at that time. And Yunnurain means the possessor of two lights. Hazrat Uthman (R) married Ruqayyah and Umm Kulsum, the two daughters of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

 

 His father's name was Affan Ibn Abu As. And his mother's name was Arwa bint Quraiz. Hazrat Uthman (R) was very humble and polite from his childhood. The sins and filth of the Arab world at that time did not touch him. He used to acquire knowledge by his own efforts. At that time he was one of the leading wrestlers of Quraish dynasty.

 

 Hazrat Uthman (R) converted to Islam at the age of 34. Various information is available about his conversion to Islam. Some people say that his aunt was a prominent prophet. His aunt's name was Suda. He made Hazrat Uthman interested in the Prophet (peace be upon him). According to a source, he converted to Islam with the encouragement of his aunt Sudar.

 

 Hazrat Uthman (R) once visited Syria on a business trip with the help of some people. One day while resting, he dreamed that someone was saying, "Oh, sleeping man, hurry up." A prophet named Ahmad made his debut in Makkah.

 

 Shortly after this he returned to Mecca and found out about the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he was preaching the word of God Almighty. Hearing this, his mind began to wander. He ran to his close friend Hazrat Abu Bakr (R). In his words, 'Uthman (R) accepted Islam. Hazrat Uthman (R) was known in Makkah at that time as a respected person.

 

 However, after accepting Islam, various kinds of oppression came down on him. Relatives kept pressuring him to leave Islam. Enemies also carry out various conspiracies. However, no pressure or oppression could shake him from the path of truth.
