I hope you are all well with the infinite mercy of Allah Almighty. I am also well and healthy to accept your prayers and the infinite blessings of Allah Almighty.
Allah Almighty is the only Creator, Lord and Controller of the universe. He is eternal, invisible, eternal, omnipotent and omniscient. Allah has no partner, He is not the son of anyone and is not the father of anyone. All the systems of the heavens and the earth operate by His will. Human sustenance, life and death, happiness and sorrow—everything is under His control. Allah has no shape, form or body; He is not measurable by the qualities of creation. Allah's mercy is unlimited, justice is complete. He forgives his servant, guides him and calls him to the truth. Allah is the ultimate truth, the owner and god of everything
Who is Allah Almighty? What is His identity?
The Creator, Sustainer, and Controller of the universe, who exists alone—He is the Almighty Allah. Allah is the Creator of everything, from humans, jinn, angels, the sky, the earth, the constellations, the sea, the mountains, to every tiny particle. In the words of the Quran, “Allah is the Creator of all things and He is the Sustainer of all things.” The identity of Allah is not an idea created by any person; rather, He Himself has presented His identity to people in the Quran.
1. Allah is One and Unique
The fundamental foundation of Islam is Tawhid, the center of which is the unity of Allah. Allah is one, He is unique, and there is no one like Him. His identity is stated very briefly and clearly in Surah Ikhlas—
“Say, He is Allah, One, the Self-Sufficient; He begets not, nor is He begotten, and there is none like unto Him.”
This means that Allah has no part, partner, son, or equal. He does not have the characteristics of humans or creation.
2. Allah is Everlasting and Eternal
People are born, live and die. Everything in the world changes. But Allah is not changing; He was, is and will always be. His existence is not dependent on anything. He was not created by anyone and His existence has no beginning or end.
The Quran says— “He is the First and He is the Last, He is the Manifest and He is the Unmanifest.”
That is, the center of both the beginning and the end of existence is Allah.
3. Allah is the Creator and Lord (Rab)
The word “Rab” means the Creator, the Nurturer, the Developer and the Responsible Guardian.
When a person is born, he does not know anything; gradually he learns, grows, gains strength—all these are blessings given by Allah.
Air, water, light, the cycle of night and day, the provision of sustenance—all these are part of Allah’s plan.
Even if a person is sleeping, Allah does not rest. He regularly protects creation. If Allah were to turn his attention away from the universe for a moment, the entire balance of creation would be disrupted. But by Allah's power, everything is running smoothly.
4. Allah is omniscient and omnipotent
Allah knows everything—what someone says, what they think, even the secrets of the heart.
He knows everything that is hidden from sight.
The Quran says— "Even a leaf does not fall, He knows it."
This means that Allah's knowledge is omnipresent and limitless.
Allah is the possessor of great power. The largest planets on earth, stars, galaxies—all are controlled by His power. For something to exist, Allah's command is sufficient. Again, He can also annihilate it in an instant.
5. Allah has no shape, form, or body
Since humans are surrounded by matter, they naturally think that Allah also has a shape. But Islam clearly says—
Allah is not like creation. He has no body, no place, no limitations.
He is above time and space. The imagination that humans have is not Allah; He is beyond imagination.
This is one of the aspects of Allah's complete and unique identity.
6. Allah is very merciful and forgiving
Among the greatest attributes of Allah is mercy.
Of the 113 surahs of the Quran, 112 begin with "Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim"—that is, with the beginning of "Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim"—that is, with the words "In the name of the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful."
People make mistakes, commit sins, and go astray—but Allah forgives every servant who returns to Him.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
"Allah's mercy outweighs His anger."
This proves that Allah does not want to destroy the servant; rather, He wants to guide and protect.
7. Allah is just
Allah has sent people to the world to test them. Those who do good will be rewarded, and those who do wrong will be punished—this is Allah's justice.
No small good deed or small bad deed is ignored by Allah.
Some people are punished for wrongdoing in this world, some are not—but in the Hereafter, everyone will be judged fairly.
That is why Allah's justice is perfect and perfect.
8. There is no one above Allah, no one below Allah
Allah is great and everyone is His creation. Kings, leaders, rich and poor - all are His servants.
He does not exclude anyone from His power; He does not fear anyone; He is the Almighty.
Humans, jinn, devils, angels - no one is equal to Allah.
That is why it is a grave sin to worship anyone other than Allah or to associate anyone with Him in power.
9. The identity of Allah, His names and attributes
Allah has 99 names - which reveal His special attributes.
For example—
Ar-Rahman: The Most Gracious
Ar-Rahim: The Most Merciful
Al-Alim: The All-Knowing
Al-Khaliq: The Creator
Al-Malik: The Owner
As-Sami’: The All-Hearing
Al-Basir: The All-Seeing
Each name introduces people to one of Allah’s qualities.
10. Allah is very close to people
Although Allah has no body or place, it is said in the Quran—
“I am the source of the soul of my servant.
This is also close.”
That is, Allah is close to people through His knowledge and mercy.
When people call on Allah in sorrow, crisis, fear or happiness, Allah hears them.
This closeness is a sign of Allah's mercy.
11. Allah loves people
Allah created people and desires their well-being.
He sent prophets and messengers to show people the right path, gave them books, and gave them intelligence and knowledge.
Allah helps people who follow the right path even more.
Even sinners have mercy on Allah—He wants them to repent and return.
12. Allah's identity in the Quran and the created world
Two major sources introduce Allah—
(1) Quran: Where Allah himself has described His attributes.
(2) The created world: Where Allah's existence, power and knowledge are revealed in every perfect creation.
The vast sky, the hive of a bee, the parts of the human body—all are proof of Allah's identity.
The Almighty Allah is the only One in the entire created world The Lord, the Creator, the Lord and the Controller. He is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient and just. There is no one like Him; He is without partner, unique. Kindness, love and forgiveness are His important qualities. Man is His creation and servant, and Allah wants the welfare of man.
He alone should be called upon, He alone should be relied upon and His instructions should be followed. Only in this way can man find true peace and salvation.
