Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Most of the people in this country depend on agriculture. Rain is the lifeblood of agriculture. Rain is essential for the production of almost all types of crops - paddy, wheat, jute, maize, vegetables and fruits. When there is sufficient rain at the right time, the crop is good, the farmers are happy and the country's food security is ensured.

Rain increases the fertility of the land. Rainwater penetrates deep into the soil, making the soil soft and fertile, so that the roots of the plants can easily absorb nutrients. As a natural irrigation, rain reduces the cost of farmers and encourages environmentally friendly agricultural systems.
