 Today's topic is global warming. InshaAllah, we will continue to discuss how the temperature of our world is rising and what problems are happening in the world as a result.

 

 Global warming - One of the major environmental problems in the world today is global warming. This is the kind of climate change that is approaching, which can be compared to the greenhouse effect in a procedural way. The urgent need to control global warming is that the chemical composition of the Earth's atmosphere has already undergone a radical change from one hundred years ago. It is never possible to go. For example, the average global temperature has risen by about 0.60 ° C compared to the world average a hundred years ago. We have been using computer technology to predict that climate change may increase or even increase by an additional 2.5 ° to 5.5 বিশ্বের C by the end of the 21st century. As a result, there will be a huge change in the sea level due to the swelling of the surface water of this earth, the ice caps of the high mountains and the rapid melting of the glaciers in the polar regions.

 

 Earth's temperature was much higher about two million years ago. Since then, the world has progressed through this cycle of ice age-inter-ice age-ice age. The main reason for the fluctuations between the Pleistocene ice age and another ice age cycle is the relationship between the Sun's orbit around the Sun and its relation to the Earth's oblique rotation. This cycle of transition from ice age to inter-ice age and the onset of another ice age occurs almost every 1 lakh years. The Earth's temperature during the Ice Age was about 4 ° to 5 ° C lower than the temperature during the inter-ice age. The last ice age ended about 10,000 years ago, and this led to the retreat of continental glaciers. World temperatures have not risen more than 2 ° C in the last 10,000 years.

 

 Recent global warming has been attributed to the gradual or even greater increase in the levels of certain greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These atmospheric gases do not prevent the short-wave solar rays from reaching the earth, but the long-wave infrared radiation does not prevent the earth from moving to the outer universe, i.e. the earth's surface is constantly warming. Greenhouse gases are solely responsible for global warming. These gases are: - Carbon-dioxide, carbon-monoxide, nitrous dry and trioxide, methane, nitrogen, chlorofluorocarbons and atmospheric water vapor. Industrialization, agricultural expansion, especially wet paddy cultivation, increase in the number of automobiles, deforestation, wildfires - all play a significant role in increasing the amount of the first four gases.
