Today I want to share some things with you about ethics, morality, the dignity of the individual and immorality, immorality, the hated object of society. Welcome and congratulations to all of you in this post.
Ethics and morality are such a force in human life that guides people to the right path and makes them ideal, respected and great. On the other hand, immorality and immorality push people to the path of bestiality, tarnish society and eventually lead to their final downfall. Just as ethical people spread light in society, immoral people create darkness in society. That is why it is said, "Morality is the greatest power of man."
What are ethics and morality?
‘Principles’ refers to certain rules of human behavior and activities that are socially and humanly acceptable. It determines the ideal framework of a person’s life.
‘Morals’ are those behaviors and values that help to differentiate between right and wrong, good and evil, truth and falsehood. A moral person believes in truth, honesty, loyalty, compassion and a sense of responsibility.
In a word, morals and ethics are such a guideline that makes a person not only educated, but also noble and humane.
Importance of morals and ethics:
1. Helps in developing human qualities:
Morals make a person kind, compassionate, patient and tolerant. These qualities make a person a real human being.
2. Maintains social status:
Moral people do not create chaos in society. They protest against injustice, take a stand against corruption and lead the society on the path of progress.
3. Helpful in gaining trust and respect:
A person with ethical behavior becomes a person of respect in society. Others trust him because he is truthful and responsible.
4. Helpful in personality development:
A person can never be a complete personality without principles and ethics. A disciplined and ethical life gives a person mental peace and spiritual peace.
5. Key role in building institutions and nations:
Polite citizens strengthen the foundation of a country. Ethics are needed in all areas - judiciary, administration, politics, educational institutions.
On the other hand, the harmful aspects of unethical and immorality:
1. Personal and social decline:
Society loses trust in an immoral person. He gradually becomes isolated in society, and even his family is affected.
2. Increase in corruption and criminal tendencies:
Immorality leads people to dishonest paths - bribery, theft, lying, cheating, etc. are the results of this.
3. Disturbance of peace and stability:
Immoral behavior creates chaos in society, resulting in the destruction of peace and stability. People lose trust in each other.
4. Moral degradation and destruction of values:
When immorality spreads in society, the new generation does not get the right guidance. As a result, a nation gradually moves towards destruction.
How is it possible to practice morality?
1. Through family education:
Children should be taught qualities such as honesty, responsibility, respect, etc. from an early age. The family is the first school of moral education.
2. Role of educational institutions:
Teachers should include morality in their teaching and set an example in their own behavior.
Through religious teachings:
Every religion teaches truth, peace, brotherhood and justice. Morality can also be practiced by following religious ideals.
Responsibility of Journalism and Media:
The media should spread the truth and oppose immoral acts. This encourages people to choose a moral and honest path.
Some ideal examples of moral personalities:
1. Mahatma Gandhi:
He set an example of morality in the whole world through truth and non-violence.
2. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH):
His character and life style were completely full of morality, due to which he became famous as 'Al-Amin'.
3. Nelson Mandela:
He fought for human rights on the path of morality and at one time became the national hero of South Africa.
Without morality, a person is just a body. Spiritual qualities, human values and a sense of right and wrong are what make a person 'human'. A moral person is respected in society and is a blessing for the society and the nation. On the other hand, an immoral person is hated and despised in society.
Therefore, each of us should develop ourselves morally and establish ourselves as an ideal personality in the society. We must remember—
"Morality makes a person great, and immorality destroys him."
A moral life makes not only the individual but the entire nation great. Each of us should practice morality in our daily lives and stand against immorality. Only then will a beautiful, peaceful and developed society be built.
