By nature, people love to hear pleasant words. Sweet talk, words of praise, words of reassurance, or promises of a bright future—hearing these things easily brings joy to our hearts. However, problems arise when we are so captivated by the beauty of the words that we believe them without verifying their truthfulness. This tendency can be described as "getting carried away by alluring words." It happens when someone speaks so beautifully, attractively, and hopefully that we become completely enchanted, feeling no need to examine reality, logic, or the actual truth.
