Maleria and the sick land : POEM

A
ajibade

In a kraal far away,
Underneath a bedsheet produced using stows away,
A chap covers himself, shuddering.
His body consumes like some espresso.
Jungle fever has visited him
Also, everything is as of now not the equivalent:
The fellow can't eat
Indeed, even his number one dinner
Of fufu and Egusi with goat meat
For a haze of sharpness covers his tongue.
He feels great in the first part of the day
What's more, feels debilitated when the sun appears
Is the sun Malaria's partner?
The chap can't rest
Also, when he figures out how to get one
He longs for purple and red
He longs for blue and yellow
Of various varieties
That come in various sizes
All tossing punches at him
In the boxing ring of his viewpoints.
The debilitated chap feels cold
When wherever is hot
Furthermore, feels hot
When wherever is cold.
At the facility, the white-wearing medical caretakers
Subsequent to giving the chap a couple of infusions
Faulted mosquitoes for Malaria's abundances.
Unfortunate fellow! He will recover in the future
Be that as it may, won't ever recall
To utilize his mosque net.
