Hello Friends!

I am also good and safe Alhamdulillah.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their lives. My post today is for the good of Pakistan because the polio campaign is going on in Pakistan. And I am participating in this polio campaign.

We worked for five full days from Monday to today to do this campaign. Every effort was made to ensure that every child was given the polio vaccine so that no child under the age of five could go without the polio vaccine. So that they can avoid diseases like polio.

To accomplish this task, we used to wake up every morning, prostrate before Allah, and pray to Allah to make our day good. And then we would have our breakfast and after breakfast, we would go to our nearest center from where we have to get the polio vaccine. From there we would pick up our polio vaccine and go to our stop where we would sit and do the polio campaign.

Our union council has a total of four villages including one Harappa station and four villages. All these are handled by my father under his supervision the campaign is carried out in this whole council. Around 40 to 42 teams participate in this campaign. And he gets the entire Union Council under his supervision.

First, we collected the polio vaccine from our hospital and went to the place where we had to conduct our campaign. Going there, we planted a polio flag which was like a banner. There to know that people are given polio drops here and the child who is missing should come here and get polio drops. Sometimes it happens that the polio team goes door to door only to find that the child is a guest. Thus he misses on the way and the polio team passes by. We vaccinate children who are on the way so that they do not miss out.

We have vaccine carriers with ice packs inside. Between these ice packs, we keep the vaccine so that it does not get damaged by the heat. Because as soon as the sun shines on it, it deteriorates. So we keep it in a cool place.

We have a tally sheet on which we have to mark how many children under six months old we have immunized and how many children older than that. So that we report it to our supervisor and he goes and reports to DHO in the evening. This is how the whole series goes.

During polio, we cannot come into the house because we don't have much immunity. So we have our lunch there. Usually there we are sitting next to the samosas, so we have lunch with these samosas. Which are quite delicious and the most famous of our Harappa station.

Similarly, we also sit there and drink tea so that we can stay fresh. We thus dedicate our time till evening and administer the polio vaccine to any child who passes by us. So that no child gets sick from this disease and every child can be saved.

During our duty, we are also accompanied by police personnel so that they can handle any emergency. Because many people misunderstand this vaccine. They think that it makes our children sick, so these officials are set up to correct them. Because if they don't listen to us, they listen to the words of these officials. Because the person who does not understand the language of love has to understand the language of harshness. Because it is for the good of their children, for the sake of their children, we are standing here so that their children can avoid diseases like polio.

In the evening all the teams bring their reports and come and submit them to their supervisor. The supervisor enters all his data on the one-to-be form. They write the data of all the area in-charges and all the teams under them in one place and go to the meeting in the evening with the DHO which is also held with the CEO. They check the reports thus in each district the reports are collected and they send their reports further to the district. In this way, we protect every child from disease.

This is how I spent today and completed my campaign. After coming home in the evening, I had some enjoyment with fruits. Because we used to eat lunch early, there was little time for dinner. Then I used to eat fruits during that time.

For five whole days, we did this and we administered two polio drops to every child under five years of age in our area. And also gave vitamin A capsules. So that every child can be protected from diseases like polio because it is a very dangerous disease. So we should avoid it and give two polio drops to each of our children.

Thanks a lot for visiting my blog. Take care of yourself and stay happy
