My dear friends, welcome to my Kavad Yatra. You all know that this Kavad Yatra is one of the major religious pilgrimages of India.This journey is seen as a symbol of unwavering faith and devotion by the devotees of Lord Shiva because devotion of any kind is a form of respect.Sawan is the holy month in which lakhs of people carry water in the form of Kavad and go on pilgrimage for 30 years.Everyone does their journey differently but some journey is done on foot which is considered the most and in which children, young, women and elders all participate as a mark of devotion.A lot of enthusiasm is seen among the devotees during Kavad. Those who come to see them wear different colored clothes. They bring a color of their Shiva and have the name of Mahadev on their face and mouth and they chant from all sides. Only one sound resonates from all sides - Bhole Bam Bhole Bam Bhole Bam Bam Because with the difficulties of a long way they complete their journey, there is tiredness on their faces but they move ahead all the same.
To make this journey special, an attractive tableau is also seen which moves forward with a group of cowries, in which Shiva and Parvati also dance.Everyone brings tableaux of their deities, which add to the attraction in the form of flowers, clothes and decorated architecture. At some places, it also comes in the form of a religious message and also increases love and brotherhood among the people.They display their messages on their floats and present the journey in various forms as a celebration.Kavad Yatra is a religious belief but it is also cited as an example of social unity and brotherhood.
We meet many people on the way, all the people make arrangements to provide them pure water and pure food with their own vehicles, on every route they keep the supply of everything suitable to convey their things.They celebrate their religious festivals socially in brotherhood and do not discriminate against each other. All the devotees have respect for them and the feeling of love makes them even stronger.Many rules and cleanliness are maintained during the Kavad Yatra. Everything is cleaned before sunrise and water is arranged everywhere. Environmentally friendly clothes are given to everyone.He is fully prepared for any kind of problems because our Indian culture is a true religion and social unity.The world is changing rapidly, but faith always remains the same. This faith is the greatest in which people come from far and wide to see these things.This is not a Kavad Yatra, it is a form of devotion in which the devotee religiously shows his faith in the instruments as God.
