Khandaker Mushtaq Ahmed (1918–1996) was a Bangladeshi politician. He held important cabinet positions in the government of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Khandaker Mushtaq Ahmed became the President of Bangladesh after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was assassinated on 15 August 1975. His term as President was very short—about three months. He later stepped down.
His name is particularly controversial and discussed in the history of Bangladesh, especially because of his role in the political upheaval of 1975.
