Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah and by your prayers and love, I am very well and healthy. Dear friends, the topic I will share with you today is, I will share some flower photography and share various thoughts with you while sitting on the bank of the river in the afternoon and I will share with you various thoughts and currently there is a lot of work going on across the Yamuna River, so I will discuss that work with you, InshaAllah. When we sit on the bank of the river in the late afternoon, many thoughts come to our minds. We can think about many things in a cold mood. For example, when we sit on the bank of the river, we often think about what blessings Allah has given us on earth. Rivers, canals, gullies, mountains, and hills. All these are blessings of Allah. Which blessing of Allah will we deny? None of us can deny any of the blessings of Allah. Allah has created us and has given us sufficient blessings, we will enjoy these blessings and be grateful.
Let's discuss something about the Yavuna River, many people know about the Yamuna River, while many do not know about the Yamuna River. I will tell you something about the Yamuna River for everyone. The Yamuna River flows in front of our house. Many people will be surprised to know that the distance from our house to the Yamuna River is only 25 to 30 feet. Naturally, because it is so close, no one will want to believe it or even if they believe it, there will be a lot of fear in their minds. Some people think that if the house is so close to the Yamuna River, there may be a fear of thieves and robbers at any moment. Even the tidal waves of the river can cause a lot of damage. There are also various other concerns, such as during the storm-rainy season, there is usually a risk of major damage from the river.
But I will say that we have been living there for the past 30-35 or 40 years and the river has come in front of our house for about 20-25 years but till today our house has not broken and there has been no damage or fear, but when there is a big flood, there is a lot of fear but by the grace of Allah when the flood ends we can live a fear-free life again, by fear during the flood I mean that there is enough water on all sides, there is a lot of water on all sides of the house, so we cannot leave the house even if we go out we have to use our boat to move around and during a heavy flood due to the water on all sides of the house if there are two or three houses in between, we are most afraid of snakes and insects.
Because these animals do not find any shelter anywhere and come towards the house and then someone unknowingly steps on a snake or insect and gets bitten and gets seriously injured or even dies. So we live in such a number that there may be another fear, for example, because there is water all around the house, it is very easy for a group of robbers to rob it. They try to stop the house with a boat and cause a lot of damage, but Allah Ta'ala has kept us safe from them. Now a lot of work is being done on the banks of the river. We are also very happy about it because the Water Development Board is making arrangements so that the river does not break, so I sincerely thank the Water Development Board.
