chocolate steamed banana cake

Today I want to share one of my husband's favorite snacks, my husband really likes various types of sponge cake, starting from chocolate cake, banana cake, pandan cake and others, all of which he likes except one variant, namely cheese cake

Well, today I want to make banana sponge cake according to my husband's request, who asked for it a few days ago, but today I only had time to make it here, actually I made it with a simple recipe and the results are definitely very satisfying.

Every Eid I often make steamed banana cake with this recipe, banana cake is one of the foods that must be available at Eid in my house besides nastar, so every Eid I always make banana cake for myself and bring it as an Eid parcel when I visit close relative's house

Banana sponge cake is indeed an alternative way for those of you who love sponge cake who don't want the hassle of making it. Apart from that, the recipe that I share is very simple and doesn't use a mixer or oven. Of course, for those of you who are still beginners, you can try the recipe that I share, because this is sponge cake. steamed banana



Ingredients for making chocolate steamed banana cake:

4 ripe bananas
8 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 vanilla
2 eggs
11 tbsp wheat flour (medium protein)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp powdered milk
6 tbsp vegetable oil

 



how to make :

(1) The first step is to break 2 eggs then add 8 tablespoons of granulated sugar and beat using a fork or whisk just until the granulated sugar dissolves

(2) After that, take 4 bananas then mash the bananas until smooth, then mix them into the egg that was beaten earlier then stir.

(3) then also add 11 tablespoons of wheat flour and also add 1 tablespoon of powdered milk and 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 vanilla while filtering so there are no lumps then stir well and add 6 tbsp vegetable oil and stir again

(4) then prepare a baking sheet that has been smeared with margarine, then pour the banana sponge mixture into the baking pan, and add banana slices on top of the mixture, then steam in the steamer that has been heated earlier.

(5) steam for about 35 minutes over medium heat, then test with a skewer to see if there is still anything sticky, if not, it means the steamed banana cake is cooked, remove from heat and let cool then I decorate it with chocolate glaze
