The 3rd and final T20I Match of the Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh, 2024 was played today between Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi. In which Sri Lanka won the match by 28 runs and also won the series by 2-1.

Sri Lanka Innings- Sri Lanka batted first started the inning not very well, Dhananjaya de Silva and Kusal Mendis came to start the inning, the first wicket was dismissed just for 18 runs in first ball of the 4th over, Dhananjaya de Silva was dismissed just for 8 runs in 12 balls, next batsman Kamindu Mendis came to bat and he good strike rotate with Kusal Mendis, the second wicket was dismissed for 52 runs in 7.4 over, Kamindu Mendis dismissed for 12 runs in 12 balls, next batsman Wanindu Hasaranga came to bat and he good strike rotate and played a brilliant half-century partnership of 59 runs with Kusal Mendis, the third wicket was dismissed for 111 runs in 12.5 over, Wanindu Hasaranga dismissed for 15 runs in 13 balls, followed by Charith Asalanka came to bat and he was dismissed very quickly just for 3 runs in 5 balls as fourth wicket in 14.4 over, the team score was 133 runs, next batsman Angelo Mathews came to bat, after a few moments the fifth wicket also dismissed for 140 runs in 16.5 over, Kusal Mendis was dismissed after playing a very brilliant powerful half-century inning of 86 runs with the help of 6 sixes and 6 boundaries in just 55 balls, next batsman Dasun Shanaka came to bat, after a after a few moments the sixth wicket dismissed for 152 runs in 17.5 over, Angelo Mathews dismissed for 10 runs in 7 balls, next batsman Sadeera Samarawickrama came to bat and good strike rotate with Dasun Shanaka, the 7th wicket dismissed for 174 runs in final ball of the inning, Dasun Shanaka dismissed after playing a quick inning of 19 runs with the help of 1 six and 2 boundaries in just 9 balls, and Sadeera Samarawickrama was remains unbeaten for 7 runs in 7 balls. In this way, Sri Lanka scored 174 runs after losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 175 runs for Bangladesh.
Bangladeshi bowlers- Taskin Ahmed took 2 wickets just for 25 runs in his spell, Rishad Hossain 2 wickets for 35 runs in his spell, Shoriful Islam 1 wicket for 28 runs in his spell, Mustafizur Rahman 1 wicket for 47 runs in his spell, Mahedi Hasan was wicketless for 22 runs in 3 overs, and Soumya Sarkar also wicketless for 11 runs in 1 over.
Bangladesh inning- Bangladesh chasing 175 runs in the second inning the entire team dismissed just for 146 runs in the fourth ball of the final over and lost the match by 28 runs. PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Sri Lankan bowler Nuwan Thushara was selected as the player of the match, he performed very brilliant bowling took 5 wickets just for 20 runs in his spell
PLAYER OF THE SERIES - Sri Lankan batsman Kusal Mendis got the series, he performed very brilliant batting scored a total of 181 runs including 2 half-century innings in the entire series, scored 59 runs in 1st match, 36 runs in 2nd match, and 86 runs in 3rd and final match.
