The Qualifier (1 v 2) of the Pakistan Super League, 2024 was played today between Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi at National Stadium, Karachi. In which Multan Sultans won the match by 7 wickets.
TOSS- Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and decided to bat first.
Peshawar Zalmi Innings- Peshawar Zalmi batted first after winning the toss, started the inning very well, although the first wicket was dismissed very quickly, Saim Ayub and Babar Azam came to start the inning, the first wicket was dismissed very quickly just for 4 runs in the fifth ball of the inning, Saim Ayub dismissed just for 1 run in 4 balls, next batsman Mohammad Haris came to bat handled the inning and played a brilliant partnership of 47 runs with Babar Azam, the second wicket was dismissed for 51 runs in last ball of the 6th over, Mohammad Haris dismissed after scoring 22 runs with the help of 4 boundaries in just 14 balls, next batsman Haseebullah Khan came to bat and he was dismissed very quickly just for 3 runs in 5 balls as third wicket in last ball of the 8th over, the team score was 57 runs, followed by Kohler-Cadmore came to bat handled the inning and played a brilliant partnership of 44 runs Babar Azam, the fourth wicket was dismissed for 101 runs in 13.4 over, Babar Azam was dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 46 runs with help of 5 boundaries in 42 balls, next batsman Rovman Powell came to bat, after a few moments the 5th wicket also dismissed for 109 runs in 15.2 over, Kohler-Cadmore was dismissed after scoring 24 runs in 24 balls, next batsman Paul Walter came to bat and played well with Rovman Powell, the sixth wicket was dismissed for 130 runs in 17.5 over, Rovman Powell was dismissed for 12 runs in 11 balls, next batsman Aamer Jamal came to bat and he was dismissed very quickly just in 3 ball in 1 run as 7th wicket in 18.2 over, the team score was 131 runs, followed by Luke Wood came to bat and he played an unbeaten inning of 14 runs in just 7 balls, with Paul Walter, and Paul Walter also played an unbeaten inning of 14 runs in 11 balls. In this way, Peshawar Zalmi scored 146 runs after losing 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 147 runs for Multan Sultans.

In this way, Multan Sultans chased the target very easily for the loss of just 3 wickets in just 18.3 overs and won the match by 7 wickets.
Peshawar Zalmi bowlers- Mehran Mumtaz got 1 wicket for 28 runs in his spell, Aamer Jamal 1 wicket for 23 runs in 3 overs, Salman Irshad 1 wicket for 28 runs in 3 overs, Saim Ayub was wicketless for 17 runs in his spell, Luke Wood wicketless for 33 runs in 3.3 overs, and Paul Walter also wicketless for 13 runs in 1 over.
PLAYER OF THE MATCH- Multan Sultans bowler Usama Mir was selected as the player of the match, he performed very brilliant bowling took 2 wickets just for 16 runs in his spell.
