In June, U.S. President Joe Biden will make his first trip abroad as head of state, traveling to the United Kingdom and Belgium.
"This trip will underscore his commitment to rebuilding our alliances, revitalizing the transatlantic relationship, and working closely with our allies and multilateral partners to address global challenges and better protect America's interests," the administration said.
In Britain, Biden will attend the G7 summit in Cornwall June 11-13. There, the U.S. president "will work to advance key U.S. policy priorities on public health, economic recovery and climate change."
